Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts
Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts is a free program for eligible families. It is designed for children who are at least 3 years old and have not yet reached the age to enter kindergarten. Families must meet the program's income guidelines.
PA Pre-K Counts classrooms provide:

a curriculum that supports children's academic & social development

regular assessments to monitor each child's progress & guide instruction

individualized learning experiences based on child's needs

support as children transition into pre-k and prepare for kindergarten
Our Goal:
Our goal is for every child to be ready for kindergarten when they complete the 4 year old pre-k class or the second year of PA Pre-K Counts.
Teachers assess children's progress throughout the year to help guide their teaching and to support each child's development. Our teachers and staff work closely with children and families to help prepare students for a successful transition to Kindergarten.
Teachers use the Creative Curriculum / Teaching Strategies curriculum along with Eastern Lancaster County School Districts assessment tools to support children's learning & development.
